DESCRIPTION:Presented by Laurel Main Street and BancorpSouth\, the Downtown Countdown to ring in 2022 will be happening on December 31\, 2021!\n\n \n\nThis event is FREE\, but bring cash $$ for beer services\, food trucks\, and event t-shirts! Also\, stay tuned to find out what shops and restaurants will be open for extended hours and specials!\n\nThe main stage will be located on N Magnolia Street between Patina's and Freedom Nails.\n\nThere will be a DJ on the main stage from 5-8PM!\n\nFood trucks & beer services will begin at 5PM on Oak Street!\n\n \n\nCountdown Kids sponsored by Shug's Cookie Dough & Candy will be 5-8PM!\n\nThere will be activities\, games\, music\, and face painting in front of Shug's on N Magnolia Street.\n\nThe first pinecone drop and firework show will be on the main stage at 8PM.\n\n \n\nThe Midnight Celebration will be from 8PM-Midnight!\n\nLive music from Emerald Empire\n\nFeatured performance by Sistaz with Soul\n\nLoblolly Pinecone drop at midnight (New York City drops a ball\, Mobile drops a moon pie\, and we are dropping a Loblolly pinecone at midnight!)\n\n2022 New Year's Firework Show at midnight!
