DESCRIPTION:Join us for the ribbon cutting for Leontyne Price Musical Park!\n\n\n\nThe Leadership of Jones County graduates that compose the group Treblemakers invite the public to the opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of the Leontyne Price Musical Park\, formerly\, Leontyne Price Park.\n\n\n\nLeontyne Price is the internationally acclaimed soprano from Laurel\, MS. She received Grammy Awards\, starred in countless works\, with many debuts on the world s largest stages\, including The Metropolitan Opera House.\n\n\n\nThe park now features a Weenotes Ensemble\, as well as a small Babel Drum and a Musical Bench created by local children and Central Creativity\; which is the only one of its kind in the state. Funding for these additions was a collaborative effort by sponsors\, donations\, and fundraising. Team Treblemakers is excited to unveil such an amazing addition to Downtown Laurel\, and Jones County.\n\n\n\nThis is an interactive experience so come out\, take pictures and video of the beautiful music you make.
