DESCRIPTION:Come out to the Veterans Memorial Museum on Thursday\, November 11 at 10AM to the Veterans Day Celebration.\n\nThis year's program includes patriotic music\, a gun salute by the Jones County Rosin Heels\, and a special recognition of veterans and Gold Star families.  The Northeast Jones High School Beta Club will be handing out goodie bags to all veterans in attendance.\n\nKeynote address will be provided by Brigadier General John Brewer (USA\, Retired).  General Brewer served over 31 years in the U.S. Army and MS National Guard.  He is a decorated combat veteran with tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. His last assignment was as the Chief-Of-Staff for the Air & Missile Defense Cross-Functional Team\, Army Futures Command at Fort Sill\, OK where he led Air & Missile Defense modernization efforts for the US Army.\n\nLight refreshments will be served following the program and the museum will be open to the public for touring.
